We install, maintain and upgrade mechanical systems for America’s best buildings
Hess Mechanical, LLC is a full service, merit-shop mechanical contractor licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Since 1980, Hess Mechanical has specialized in commercial and industrial construction in both Plan Specification work and Design-Assist projects. With a current workforce of approximately 200 full-time field employees, a safety manager, and dedicated safety program, as well as highly qualified superintendents, foremen, mechanics and project managers, Hess Mechanical is able to self-perform all plumbing, HVAC and sheet metal work.
Within budget, reduced delays, improved safety
Hess Mechanical’s reputation is built on professionalism, technical expertise, and a team approach to the requirements of each project. Because our work is self-performed, Hess Mechanical exercises a high degree of control over a project’s quality, safety and scheduling. From coordination of drawings and prefabrication of pipe and duct systems, to onsite preparation and installation, you can count on high-quality results. Extensive pre-planning, thorough understanding of project scope requirements, and professional supervision eliminate delays, reduce hazards, and maintain construction within budget.
Strong relationships and support
In April 1998, Hess Mechanical became a subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA, the nation’s premier provider of commercial and industrial HVAC solutions. As a result of this merger, Hess Mechanical has nearly unlimited bonding capabilities as well as the ability to partner with sister companies (such as Riddleberger Brothers and Colonial Webb in Virginia) to increase its work force and fabrication, as needed. Our depth and strength as an award winning national publicly traded company gives added value and peace of mind to our customers.
